ne of the most up-and-coming
high-speed serial interfaces is
USB Type-C. USB in general and
Type-C specifically require designers
to focus on electrostatic discharge
(ESD) events and over-temperature
events that could damage physical
plastic casing of the electronic
equipment. The integrated circuits
(ICs) really all need to be considered
(Figure 1).
