15 Emerging IoT applications present both unique opportunities and significant challenges for IoT device designers. The need for more data from more sensors drives a need for more effective data acquisition capabilities, while the trend toward more complex software processing within those systems dictates the need for more powerful computational capabilities. At the same time, developers need to balance these requirements for greater functionality against expectations for extended operation in small coin cell batteries. For developers, the solution lies in building IoT devices that combine low-power MCUs, sensor signal acquisition ICs, and wireless devices in designs able to meet broad functional requirements even on the tightest power budgets. Conclusion ADA4051-1/ADA4051-2 Zero-Drift Learn More 4 • Very low-supply current: 13μA typical • Low-offset voltage: 15μV maximum • Offset voltage drift: 20nV/°C IoT
