Applications
Many EMC problems from electronic devices can be solved with a

Introduction
The movement toward higher frequency into
the gigahertz range has begun. The demand
to know the characteristics of electromagnetic
compatibility (EMC) components used beyond
their typical application range exists. The
following aims to explain some uncommon
applications where the Würth Elektronik
WE-CBF HF high-frequency series is a suitable
alternative to traditional design topologies.
■ Filtering harmonics for mobile communication
■ Data line filtering in high-speed bus systems (CAN, USB, Video,
RS232, Wireless LAN)
■ Filtering circuits
■ Impedance matching circuits

However, it is interesting to show different ways of using a chip bead
in different application scenarios. Here we introduce uncommon
