I
nfrastructure that doesn't depreciate is advantageous
for businesses and positive for the planet. For
example, industrial energy bills plummeted when LEDs
replaced traditional incandescent bulbs. However, due
to the longevity of LEDs, they do not typically come with
replaceable light bulbs. There are two replaceable options:
use a traditional, low-cost incandescent bulb with a shorter
life span but very predictable performance, or swap the
old-style bulb with an LED into the same lighting fixture.
In addition to these two paths, a third option is available.
