Dr. Thomas Yilun Luo is currently an Advanced Power Inverter Design and Analysis Engineer at General Motors. Dr. Luo
works with GM R&D and GPD teams and eternal entities to advance state-of-the-art inverter technology. Dr. Luo has
extensive experience in inverter design, testing, and analysis, both in low and high voltage design, power devices, and
component engineering for BEVs. Dr. Luo has been a key contributor to inverter and motor control research at Southwest
Research Institute and is currently the session chair of Electric Motor and Power Electronics of SAE WCX.
