In the next decade of avionics, I expect to see the
first certified electric VTOLs starting to operate in
predefined routes. Aircraft designs will become
lighter and more efficient with increased battery
life and passenger capacity. We'll see improved
pilot assistance technologies and maybe even the
start of fully automated aircraft."
