In fields such as construction and
engineering, accurate measurements
are crucial to ensure the safety and
reliability of products and infrastructure.
Even small errors in measurements can
have significant impacts on the safety of
structures, machinery, and equipment."

A prime example of the power of MEMS leveling is
3D scanners. These scanners work by projecting a
light source onto an object and then capturing and
analyzing the reflection or distortion of that light to
determine the object's 3D shape. The precision of a
3D scan is dependent on the stability and orientation
of the scanner. Even small deviations from the level
can lead to inaccuracies in the final model. With a
unique combination of size, accuracy, durability,
and range, MEMS allow for extremely detailed and
accurate measurements conducive to capturing 3D
data.
Murata offers MEMS-based leveling solutions with
industry-leading accuracy and long-term stability.
