About Our Experts
Benjamin Grab leads the Applications Engineering team for
the Samtec Optical Group. Over the course of his 20 plus
years in electronics engineering, he has been in a number of
roles including analog IC design, analog PCB design, systems
integration, and electronics test development. Focusing in
on the past 13 years, he has been dedicated to the niche
field of fiber optic transceiver design, development, and
testing for rugged applications including mil/aero and space
applications.
Andy has 18+ years of experience with Samtec's high-speed
cable product solutions with a primary focus on application
engineering and ensuring Samtec's roadmap is ready to
solve future electrical system challenges. Andy attained a
Mechanical Engineering Technology degree through Purdue
University.
