Our vision is to make Arduino available to everyone, whether you are a student, maker or professional, which is why we now have three segments to our business. Historically, moving beyond basic control logic required a total abandonment of familiar tools in favor of complex system-on-modules. Arduino recognized this gap and developed a solution that preserves the intuitive nature of our ecosystem while providing the industrial-grade power required for the next generation of edge AI. The Arduino UNO Q is a true change in how designers approach the sense-decide-act loop. By integrating a high-performance microprocessor with a deterministic microcontroller, we provide a dual-brain architecture that handles both high-level Python logic and low-latency hardware interrupts simultaneously. This platform allows designers to maintain their existing C++ codebases while gaining access to the vast world of Debian Linux, vision processing, and local Large Language Models. But beyond a prototyping tool, we designed UNO Q as a path toward production. With the introduction of the Arduino App Lab and the Bridge library, teams can now manage complex inter-processor communication through simple API calls. This eliminates the need for custom protocols and allows engineers to focus on application logic. Furthermore, our commitment to open-source hardware means that every schematic and CAD file is available for teams to integrate into their own custom PCB designs.
