Intelligent products operate within a continuous sense-
decide-act loop, in which AI integration handles the
"decide" portion. The challenge is that this feedback
loop expects systems to sense environmental data and
execute physical actions under strict timing constraints,
even while the processor manages complex logic.
Because timing is so vital, validating this decision-
making logic early in the design cycle often provides
more value to a project than achieving peak model
performance. Engineering teams should therefore
prioritize these early validation steps to ensure that
the logic governing system behavior is sound before
committing significant resources to optimizing
underlying AI models.

hardware that meets specific technical
requirements for processing power, memory
capacity, and low-latency response times.
A 'thinking' device should access
information via sensors or APIs,
interpret that information based on
real-world conditions, and act to
realize a desired outcome without
