This fusion of software-defined digital gate drivers
and SiC devices not only presents engineers with
a powerful platform for developing high-efficiency
power products but also reduces the time to market
for these products by shifting design away from
hardware and toward software. The ability to adapt
a circuits' function in a matter of seconds rather
than weeks (keystrokes vs. soldering gate resistors)
can translate to reduced times to market by six

technologies.

characteristics of SiC compared to Si
provide designers with more flexibility

SiC devices also have smaller EMI filter
