Salam BaniAhmed, Ph.D., is the Director of the Energy Storage focus area at Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA). He leads the growth of energy storage adoption and helps utilities transition to an affordable, reliable, and resilient carbon-free electric energy system. Salam has led and co-led innovative technology development on clean energy systems. He has authored and co-authored numerous research papers, whitepapers, book chapters, and technical reports. Salam received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
